100 years ago, the last remnants of humanity were forced to retreat behind the towering walls of a fortified city to escape the massive, man-eating Titans that roamed the land outside their fortress. Only the members of the Scouting Legion dared to stray beyond the safety of the walls – but even those brave warriors seldom returned alive. Those within the city clung to the illusion of a peaceful existence until the day that dream was shattered, and their slim chance at survival was reduced to one horrifying choice: kill – or be devoured!

Seriously I loved it 🔥 Amazing show.
The only reason Shakespeare was considered to be the best writer of all time was because Isayama was not born yet.
This show really struggles to tell its story against a myriad of issues. The dialogue is cringey, melodramatic and not a single thought or theme is left unspoken. Everything is told through the text, subtext or implication doesnt exist. If a character is feeling someway they'll smack you across the face with it. The main characters are all shallow tropes with zero depth beyond whatever role they've decided they need to fill. The voice acting is abrasive and similarly trite. The writing quality generally leaves a lot to be desired. The concept of the story is interesting and the animation is well done.
