Overview
Tells the story of the ascent of the biblical figure, David, who becomes the most celebrated king of Israel. The series follows the once-mighty King Saul as he falls victim to his own pride. At the direction of God, the prophet Samuel anoints an unlikely, outcast teenager as the new king.

"Israel" was originally the name of Prophet Yaqub (Jacob, عليه السلام), not a modern political entity. Many modern movies and series, including those about Prophet Dawood (عليه السلام), alter history to serve a political agenda. They try to link Prophet Dawood to a so-called "Jewish state" when, in reality, his rule was about faith and justice, not Zionist expansionism.
